Part 2 - Fix Broken Grammar - Study Guide
Grammar: Fixing Broken English 🧩
Welcome to the Grammar section.
This activity works on a problem all language learners have:
👉 Broken English
What is broken English?
Broken English is when you speak fluently, but:
- A small word is missing
- A word form is wrong
- Words are in the wrong order
- Articles or prepositions are missing
People can understand you —
but something doesn’t sound right.
That’s broken English.
Our goal: Sound Grammar
We want your English to sound right.
This activity helps you build sound grammar — grammar that feels natural and correct.
We don’t use:
- Long rule explanations
- Traditional fill-in-the-blank drills
- One-rule-only practice
Instead, we work on everything.
How the activity works
- You see the conversation again
- One word or form is missing
- You choose the word that sounds right
- You move quickly
Think of it like a language puzzle.
Don’t overthink.
Just notice:
- The words before
- The words after
- What sounds correct
If you need help:
- Play the audio again
- Check the script below
Why this works
We don’t explain lots of grammar rules — on purpose.
This is not a grammar course.
It’s a listening and speaking course.
You learn grammar by:
- Hearing it
- Seeing it
- Noticing patterns
That’s how you learned your first language.
What you practice
In one activity, you work on:
- Singular / plural nouns
- Verb forms
- Word order
- Articles and prepositions
- Capitalization
- The main grammar point of the lesson
So you learn:
- One target grammar point
- Plus many small but important details
Time & focus
- One grammar activity per conversation
- Very quick
- Very focused
This activity prepares you perfectly for the pronunciation lesson next.
👉 Fix the small problems, and your English becomes clear, natural, and confident.
