Possessive Adjective
Point 1: The possessive adjective goes before a noun.
- my - This is my desk.
- your - This is your desk.
- her - This is her desk.
- his - This is his desk.
- its - This is its desk.
- their - This is their desk.
- our - This is our desk.
Possessive Pronouns
Point 2: The possessive pronoun takes the place of the adjective pronoun and noun.
- mine - This is mine.
- yours - This is yours.
- hers - This is hers.
- his - This is his desk.
- theirs - This is theirs.
- ours - This is ours.
